Dr. Ron Davidson, O.D.

Dr. Ron Davidson is the founder and president of Eyes Nouveau. Raised in Fort Worth, he attended Stephen F. Austin University before moving to Houston. There, he received multiple degrees from the University of Houston, including his Doctor of Optometry.

After successfully practicing optometry for many years, Dr. Davidson wanted to create an eye care facility that combined the very latest in eyecare technology, with the most complete line of Optical products available in the eyewear industry. That concept is what make Eyes Nouveau so distinctive. He now has two locations in Fort Worth and Southlake.

As a licensed Therapeutic Optometrist and an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist, he emphasizes all areas of primary eye care, including very difficult contact lens fittings, (i.e. keratoconus), treatment of eye diseases, and management of Laser in-situ keratomileusis (LASIK). He has received numerous awards in the eye care industry, as well as recognition by every major contact lens manufacturer in the United States.

He has participated in eye care projects with the medical staff at The University of North Texas Health Science Center, as well as the Texas Rangers baseball team. Dr. Davidson has been described as a perfectionist with an eye for detail. This personality trait may be one reason for his aptitude in the highly precise eye care field. Though he now spends the majority of his time training and overseeing the Eyes Nouveau staff, Dr. Davidson still enjoys seeing certain patients, especially those with challenging issues.

When he’s not at the office, Dr. Davidson enjoys traveling with his lovely wife, Amy, of 11 years. His other hobbies include weight training (once featured in a national fitness magazine), water sports, his pet horses and dogs, and following college football, especially the hometown TCU Horned Frogs.
