Dr. Kacy Pate, O.D.
Dr.
Kacy Pate is from Madill, OK, a small town located on the Oklahoma/Texas border
near Lake Texoma. After graduating high school in 1995 she attended the University
of Oklahoma. There she graduated Phi Beta Kappa and received her Bachelor of Science
degree in Biochemistry in 1999. Dr. Pate then attended Northeastern State University
College of Optometry in Tahlequah, OK where she graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2003.
Upon graduation,
Dr. Pate moved to Irving, Texas and joined a pediatric ophthalmology practice.
There she trained under a pediatric ophthalmologist and developed a specialty
in pediatrics. Dr. Pate evaluates all ages of pediatrics from infants to teenagers.
She is highly trained in the diagnosis and treatment of strabismus (eye turns)
and amblyopia (lazy eye). In 2006 Dr. Pate was very proud to become the newest
doctor in the Eyes Nouveau practice. Dr. Pate is fun-loving, out-going, and is
said to have never met a stranger.
She
emphasizes a caring and ethical commitment to the welfare of her patients. She
strives to please her patients and have them trust her with all their eye care
needs. Dr. Pate loves to spend time with her husband of two years traveling and
going to the movies. She also enjoys yoga, pilates, and spending time on the lake.
