Dr. Whatley grew up in Northeast Texas in the small town of Atlanta. Upon graduating high school, he attended The University of Central Arkansas. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology in 2005 and spent the next four years earning his Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry. There he was a member of the Dean’s List and Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society. Dr. Whatley began his career in San Antonio before becoming the newest doctor in the Eyes Nouveau family.

Dr. Whatley is a Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. He has experience in glaucoma management, LASIK and cataract post-operative management, diabetic eye disease examinations, and any of your other primary eye care needs.

Dr. Whatley prides himself on ensuring patient satisfaction with a friendly atmosphere, a first class eye examination, and treatment with the most cutting edge technology available. His personable attitude and high spirits makes for an enjoyable examination experience for patients of any age.

Dr. Whatley spends the majority of his free time with his beautiful wife Marcy and young children, Ethan and Olivia.
